Official Contest Rules – Alberta Dream Home Giveaway

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

VALID ONLY IN THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING NEW YORK AND FLORIDA), THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

By entering the Freedom Giveaways Inc. – Alberta Dream Home Giveaway (the “Promotion”), you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Freedom Giveaways Inc. (the “Sponsor”).

1) Eligibility

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (excluding New York and Florida), the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are of the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, builders, vendors, advertising/promotion agencies involved in this Promotion (collectively, the “Promotion Parties”), and the immediate family members or members of the same household of each, are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2) Promotion Period

Begins 12:00:01 AM Mountain Time (MT) on March 1, 2025 and ends 11:59:59 PM MT on September 30, 2026. Sponsor’s database clock is the official timekeeper.

3) How to Enter (Purchase or Free Mail-In)

A. Online Purchase: Make qualifying purchases at AlbertaDreamHomeGiveaway.com. Entries are awarded based on the entry value assigned to each product at time of purchase. Refunded, cancelled, or charged-back orders void all associated entries. Purchasers must provide express consent at checkout. No limit to entries received via eligible purchases.

B. Mail-In (No Purchase Necessary): Hand-print your full name, mailing address (including city, province/state, postal/ZIP), telephone number, email address, and date of birth on a plain 3″×5″ card with the phrase: “Freedom Giveaway – Alberta Dream Home Giveaway Entry.” Mail the card in a separate, postage-paid envelope to:

Each valid mail-in equals one (1) entry. Each mail-in must be submitted in a separate envelope. All mail-ins must be postmarked during the Promotion Period and received no later than October 5, 2026. Mechanically reproduced, automated, bulk, or incomplete entries are void. The mail-in card and outer envelope must be hand-printed by the entrant only; no third-party mailing services.

C. Entry Conditions & Validation: All entries must comply with these Official Rules. Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring entry information is accurate and complete. Sponsor may disqualify incomplete, inaccurate, or tampered entries.

4) Prize / Approximate Retail Value (ARV) / Odds

Grand Prize: Fee-simple title to a residential acreage property located in Ponoka County, Alberta (legal description available upon request), including an approximately 4,300 sq. ft. dwelling (approximately 3,900 sq. ft. finished in 2026) and all included appliances. Estimated fair market value: CAD $1,700,000.00. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

Prize Conditions

  • Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and costs not specifically listed as part of the prize, including without limitation property insurance, maintenance, utilities, and other ownership-related expenses following transfer.
  • The Property is awarded “as is, where is” at the time of possession. The Sponsor declares that, to the best of its knowledge, there are no material latent defects affecting the Property that are not apparent upon reasonable inspection.

Title & Transfer / Consideration / Possession

  • Conveyed by standard Alberta Land Titles transfer instrument, free of Sponsor-created encumbrances and subject only to normal registered easements, rights-of-way, and applicable municipal bylaws.
  • To comply with Alberta Land Titles and MLS® requirements, the transfer will reflect a minimum consideration of CAD $10.00, funded entirely by the Sponsor from its corporate trust account. The Winner pays nothing.
  • Possession and legal occupancy on October 15, 2026, or such other date as may be mutually agreed in writing.

Minimum Threshold & Alternate Prize

If net receipts (after administration costs and property enhancement expenditures) total less than CAD $1,500,000.00, the Property will not be awarded. Instead, the verified Winner will receive the remaining net proceeds as a cash prize in lieu of the Property.

5) Use of Proceeds – Property Enhancements, Transparency, Administration

Funds raised during the Promotion Period may be used to: (i) complete construction, landscaping, and other improvements to the Grand Prize Property; (ii) produce transparency content (video, photography, social media updates); (iii) advertising and promotion; and (iv) administrative and operating expenses such as hosting, contest management, payment processing fees, fulfillment, staffing, contractor services, and trust-account handling, in accordance with applicable Canadian and Alberta financial laws.

6) Winner Selection, Notification & Live Event

On or about October 10, 2026, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, under the supervision of an independent verifier/witness. The potential Winner will be notified by email within twenty-four (24) hours. If the potential Winner cannot be contacted after two (2) attempts within forty-eight (48) hours, fails to respond, declines/is unable to accept, or violates any term of these Rules, the potential Winner may be disqualified and an alternate selected.

Confirmation (within 48 hours of notification): Sign and return the required Releases; provide valid government-issued photo ID. Canadian residents must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. U.S. residents must complete and return an IRS Form W-9 as applicable.

Live Event: As a condition of eligibility, the potential Winner agrees to participate in a scheduled live prize announcement (e.g., FaceTime, Zoom, WhatsApp), remain available, and consents to recording and use for publicity where permitted by law. Sponsor may reschedule/modify/cancel the Live Event due to factors beyond its reasonable control.

7) Limitation of Liability & Technical Disclaimers

By participating, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and Promotion Parties from and against any and all losses, damages, claims, actions, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Promotion; the drawing, selection, or verification process; the awarding, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; or any other act or omission relating to the Promotion or the Property. This includes claims based on negligence, breach of contract, or alleged statutory/common-law duty. The Promotion Parties are not responsible for lost/late/misdirected entries; interruptions, defects, delays, unauthorized access or alterations; technical/network/equipment/computer malfunctions; or any injury/damage to devices resulting from participation. Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion if its integrity or proper functioning is affected.

Special Notice for California Residents: Entrants expressly waive California Civil Code Section 1542 to the extent permitted by law.

8) Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, participation and acceptance of the Grand Prize constitute consent for Sponsor and its designees to record, photograph, film, broadcast, and otherwise use the Winner’s name, city and province/state of residence, likeness, voice, appearance, and biographical information for promotional, advertising, and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission.

9) General Provisions

  • Binding Agreement: Participation constitutes agreement to be bound by these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding.
  • Right to Disqualify/Cancel: Sponsor may permanently disqualify any person who violates these Rules or tampers with the entry process, and may cancel/terminate/modify the Promotion due to causes beyond its control.
  • Compliance & Interpretation: Subject to applicable laws and regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to interpret these Rules and resolve ambiguities in its sole discretion.
  • Non-Assignment: Entries and rights are personal and may not be assigned or transferred. The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash, except as expressly provided.
  • Headings/Severability/Entire Agreement: Headings are for convenience only. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remainder remains in effect. These Rules constitute the entire agreement between the entrant and the Sponsor concerning the Promotion.

10) Privacy

Personal information collected from entrants is used solely for administering this Promotion, verifying eligibility, and fulfilling the prize, in accordance with applicable Canadian and U.S. privacy laws and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. If the entrant opts in to receive marketing, they may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting the Sponsor. Data is retained only as long as necessary for administration, tax, and recordkeeping, then securely deleted or anonymized. See: /policies/privacy-policy.

11) Dispute Resolution (Arbitration; Governing Law)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, these Official Rules and the Promotion are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Except for individual claims that qualify for small-claims court, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Promotion shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration seated in Calgary, Alberta, before a single arbitrator and conducted in English. Proceedings are individual only (no class, collective, or representative actions). For U.S. residents, this clause is interpreted in accordance with the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act.

12) Winner List

The confirmed Winner will be publicly announced on or about October 15, 2026 on the Sponsor’s website: AlbertaDreamHomeGiveaway.com/pages/winner. Within thirty (30) days following confirmation, the Sponsor will also post the Winner’s name and city/province/state of residence on official marketing channels. Written confirmation requests may be sent to info@AlbertaDreamHomeGiveaway.com with the subject line “Winner List Request – Alberta Dream Home Giveaway” within sixty (60) days after the Promotion Period.

14) Property Summary

Grand Prize Property: A residential acreage located in Ponoka County, Alberta (legal description available upon request). The Property includes an approximately 4,300 sq. ft. dwelling (about 3,900 sq. ft. finished in 2026), situated on 11.24 acres, and includes all installed appliances and permanent fixtures as of the possession date. The dwelling is newly built and scheduled for completion in 2026 and is awarded “as is, where is,” subject to ordinary wear and applicable warranty coverage if available.

Title & Transfer: Conveyed by standard Alberta Land Titles transfer instrument, free of Sponsor-created monetary encumbrances and subject only to registered easements and municipal bylaws. To comply with Alberta Land Titles and MLS® requirements, title will reflect a nominal consideration of CAD $10.00, funded by the Sponsor from its corporate trust account to facilitate lawful conveyance. The Winner does not provide any payment.

Possession & Occupancy: October 15, 2026, or such other date as mutually agreed in writing.

15) Compliance Statements (AGLC, RECA/AREA, REIX, MLS®)

  • AGLC: This Promotion is a no-purchase-necessary promotional contest, not a lottery or raffle. The CAD $10 nominal consideration for title registration is funded solely by the Sponsor and is not a payment by the Winner.
  • RECA / AREA: All brokerage activity related to the Property is conducted in accordance with the Real Estate Act (Alberta) and AREA standards. The listing brokerage, The Agency North Central Alberta, acts solely as the Seller’s representative for lawful marketing and conveyance and is not involved in contest administration, collection of funds, or winner selection.
  • REIX: The Agency North Central Alberta and its licensees are covered under REIX only for regulated brokerage duties; contest administration and funds handling remain the Sponsor’s responsibility.
  • MLS® Public Remark (authorized): “This property will be conveyed to a verified contest winner by Freedom Giveaways Inc. through a lawful Alberta real-estate transaction for a minimum consideration of CAD $10. The property is listed and marketed by The Agency North Central Alberta under a standard real-estate service agreement. The promotional contest used to advertise and select the recipient is operated solely by Freedom Giveaways Inc. The Agency North Central Alberta and its representatives are not involved in the contest’s operation or winner selection. 16) Definitions

  • Sponsor: Freedom Giveaways Inc., the sole operator and administrator of the Promotion.
  • Promotion: Freedom Giveaways Inc. – Alberta Dream Home Giveaway promotional contest.
  • Property: The Ponoka County residential acreage described above and any included fixtures or improvements.
  • Entrant: Any eligible individual who submits a valid entry pursuant to Section 3 of these Rules.
  • Winner: The individual confirmed pursuant to Section 6 as the recipient of the Grand Prize.
  • Consideration: The nominal amount of CAD $10 funded by the Sponsor into trust for title registration, not paid by the Winner and not a purchase or payment for the prize.
  • Net Proceeds: Total gross receipts collected by the Sponsor from product sales and entries minus administration, marketing, and Property upgrade expenses.
  • Promotion Parties: The entities and individuals described in Section 7.
  • Skill-Testing Question: A time-limited mathematical question required under Canadian law to validate eligibility for a contest prize.

17) Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By entering the Freedom Giveaways Inc. – Alberta Dream Home Giveaway, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Disclosures, and confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements. Participants further agree that: (a) the Promotion is a lawful no-purchase-necessary contest, not a raffle or lottery; (b) the Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters; (c) The Agency North Central Alberta acts solely as listing brokerage for the Seller and assumes no responsibility for contest operations; (d) the Winner will complete a standard AREA purchase agreement for CAD $10 funded by the Sponsor in trust to comply with Alberta real-estate law; and (e) the entrant waives any claim against the Promotion Parties arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the Prize.
